VOLUMES: Special Performance (Sarasota, FL)

As a part of the special installation, VOLUMES, by the artist Ezra Masch The Ringling is presenting four special performances highlighting influential and versatile percussionists, including Brian Blade, Greg Fox and Antonio Sánchez.  Each drummer will  play the light as much as they play the physical drum set, combining auditory and visual signals so precisely that the audience will eventually begin to see sound.

These special performances are related to the special installation VOLUMES on view in the Monda Gallery, Sunday, August 12, 2018 through Sunday, September 9, 2018.  Learn more about VOLUMES
